ORTHO CLUB
Terms and conditions
The rules of the Ortho Club programme.
1. Who runs Ortho Club
Ortho Club is a membership programme created and managed by UPORTHO STORE SRL (“UpOrtho”), a Romanian legal entity headquartered in Bucharest, Str. Alexandru Vlahuță nr. 5, bl. M47, sc. 2, ap. 28, Sector 3, registered with the Trade Register under no. J40/17865/2018, VAT no. RO40306492.
Contact: office@orthoclub.ro, phone +40 746 124 394.
These terms apply to the use of www.orthoclub.ro and to Ortho Club membership. Product orders placed on www.uportho.ro are governed by the UpOrtho Terms and Conditions.
2. Who can become a member
Ortho Club is intended for orthodontists, orthodontic residents and young orthodontic specialists acting in a professional capacity. Membership is linked to the personal account on www.uportho.ro.
UpOrtho may request documents confirming the status of doctor, resident or young specialist and may refuse a registration that does not meet these conditions.
3. Membership options
- Website account – free. Provides the standard benefits of an account on www.uportho.ro.
- Monthly membership – paid monthly. Includes all website account benefits, plus the member benefits described on the Become a member.
- Annual membership – paid yearly. Includes all monthly membership benefits, plus the additional benefits shown at the time of registration.
The prices and benefits in force are those shown on the Become a member page at the time of registration. Reduced-price offers (for example, the anniversary offer) are valid only during the announced period.
Residents and young specialists receive the monthly membership free of charge for 2 years, counted from the year in which they took the residency exam, regardless of when they join Ortho Club.
4. The 3-month free period
New members can try the monthly membership free of charge for 3 months. There is no obligation to continue.
At the end of the 3 months, membership access ends automatically, with no automatic renewal and no payment. Members can continue at any time by choosing the monthly or annual membership.
The 3-month free period can be used only once per doctor.
5. Payment, duration and renewal
Memberships are paid online, by card, through the payment processor used by www.uportho.ro. The invoice is issued electronically and sent by email.
The membership is active for the paid period (one month or one year) and does not renew automatically. At the end, paid membership ends with no further payment. Members can continue at any time by purchasing a new monthly or annual membership.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Members can cancel their membership at any time by emailing office@orthoclub.ro.
Monthly membership: amounts paid are not refunded, and benefits remain active until the end of the paid month.
Annual membership: on cancellation, the member chooses one of the following options:
- Keep the gift. The Mystery Box remains the member’s property, the amount paid is not refunded, and member benefits remain active until the membership expires.
- Return the gift and get a refund. This option is available within 30 days of purchasing the membership. The member returns the complete Mystery Box, with unused products in their original packaging, at their own expense, and UpOrtho refunds the full membership fee within 14 days of receiving the parcel. Member benefits end on the date of cancellation.
7. Member benefits
- Member prices and UpOrtho benefits apply automatically to the member account for the entire duration of the active membership.
- Benefits are valid in every practice where the member works, but they are personal and cannot be transferred to another person.
- Gifts associated with memberships (for example, the Mystery Box for the annual membership) are granted as described at the time of registration and while stocks last. The gift is delivered within UpOrtho’s delivery times, usually 1–3 working days from membership activation.
- UpOrtho may adapt, replace or add to the benefits, without reducing benefits already paid for in the current period.
8. Partner offers
Ortho Club gives members access to offers from partners (for example, event organisers, brands or service providers). Each offer is used under the conditions set by the respective partner.
The contract for partners’ products or services is concluded directly between the member and the partner. UpOrtho is not a party to this contract and is not responsible for the quality, delivery or prices of these products and services.
9. Personal data
UpOrtho processes members’ data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the UpOrtho Privacy Policy.
We do not share members’ data with partners. Partner offers reach members through Ortho Club channels. Members can request access to, rectification or deletion of their data at any time at office@orthoclub.ro.
10. Suspension of membership
UpOrtho may suspend or terminate membership in case of abuse of benefits (for example, passing member prices on to third parties or reselling products bought at member prices), with prior notice to the member.
11. Changes to these terms
UpOrtho may update these terms. The updated version is published on this page, together with its effective date. Changes do not affect membership periods already paid for.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. The parties will first try to settle any disagreement amicably. Failing an agreement, disputes will be settled by the competent courts of the Municipality of Bucharest.
